Dear Parents,

 It is my belief that all of our students have the capability to learn and that all of our students will succeed. In order to fulfill the mission statement, I believe in the following:

 • I believe in the education of the whole child by addressing each student's intellectual, emotional, moral and sensory needs as our students are engaged in educational experiences.

 • I believe in honoring the cultural differences of our students, our families, our staff and all members of our community. I want our students to celebrate their heritage and the differences and similarities of other heritages as well.

 • I believe that the staff can close the achievement gap.

 • I believe in our students.

 • I believe in empowering our dedicated teachers, staff and parents.

 • I believe that the self-esteem of every student can be raised with the support of teachers, parents and community working together.

 • I believe that this school's staff can create the interdependence of good instructional practice and of caring and trustful relationships for all of our students.
